The Map Preview page will display each FeatureType that is enabled and gives you a link to each one allowing you to view it in WMS form with OpenLayers.

This page has example WMS, WCS and WFS requests that you can use, examine, and change. It is very useful for seeing how to talk with Geoserver and how you can make your own, custom, requests.
